Wasa Open singles win for Canada

On the final day, the weather was favorable and the singles final was played outside in Vaasa Sportpark.

Canada’s Alvin Tudorika played the first and last match of the competition. Tudorika, who advanced to the main series through qualifying, knocked out three Finnish players on the way. Iiro Vasa fell first, Patrick Kaukovalta in the quarterfinals and Eero Vasa in the semifinals.

In the final, France’s Guillaume Dalmasso lost the set 6-2, 6-3.
